Yaser Al-Nyrabeah

Yaser Al-Nyrabeah is an actor, writer and comedian. While growing up in Ontario, Canada, Yaser was born in Florida to two Syrian refugees, his mother, a writer herself and school teacher, and his father, a small Syrian sweets shop owner and poet. Throughout his stand-up, Yaser discusses the dualities of growing up in the west while belonging to a culturally rich Syrian background. He also touches on his Muslim upbringing while also being experimental in other religious during his late teens.
